Google domain .ext search

I know this has been bought up before, but I can't seem to find the old thread.

How do you do a google search and find the number of .exts, I know it starts out with "site: .ext?"

Also, while I am asking for google search help, where can I find a list of the syntax that can be used in a google search? I search google for it and cannot find it...LOL!
