Have a look at dot xxx domains, lots of sales even in the 6 figure and look at the current market.

I mean come on, if @wwwweb hadn't pushed for more information on the alleged 500k offer, you might have a bunch of newbies thinking that .company is the future and there's strong demand. One sale does not make a gtld viable for domain investors.

Domain investors have splurged insane sums on many other extensions, .xxx is a perfect example. I might be impressed if it was an end user sale, the name is parked and listed for sale. My suspicion is they'll have a very tough time making a ROI. I hope for his sake he proves me wrong.

I'm not a gtld hater for the record, my domain site uses .domains (for now) because the .com is out of my league, I tried to buy it. Some will thrive, most will fail. My main issue is the hype surrounding them. Google buys one domain and everybody goes into a frenzy of misinformation. It's misleading.

While I appreciate @almari.company completely misinterpreted the comment on Facebook, if you're going to claim you received a 500k offer, make sure you have your facts straight before you post such a claim on a public forum imho.
