Hi,

I want to have the input of fellow members. I have a website....www.mishobonsai.com ..... wich had google ads. Ive run the ads for a few weeks and I had 36$ accumulated. Now google send me an email
saying they are closing my account and banning me of their program.

Reasons :

Click on my own ads
Incite somebody to click on my ads
Used of a automated program to click on my ads
Modified the google ads code.

Now, The only one that coulb be true is number one. Let me explain, I think it's normal that I found an ad interesting once in a while, since ads are related to my subject of website, I visit my site more then once a day etc...

Now, do you have an opinion, or some way I can appeal to Google.

Regards,
Patrick

IMHO, I'm sorry but I believe you have no case to argue. Not clicking on one's own ads is one of the golden rules and you should not expect Google to be lenient in this regard.

Well clicking on your own ads is a big no-no so I dont see you as having anything much to say about them banning you. I'm sure you knew from the start that this type of clicks arnt allowed.

google states on their homepage if you see an ad you are interested in, that you should type in the url instead of clicking thru.

You should read their TOS first, but now it's already late. you already commited a click fraud.

I beleive you can discuss the matter with them as long as you have learnt your mistake

No harm giving it a try by writing to Google and admitting your mistake.
Assure them that it will not happen again and tell them in your own words how commited you are to the program. Request them to re-adjust the invalid clicks from your total accumulated money.

Good luck!

By clicking on your own ads, you are stealing from the advertisers who paid to be there.

Due to the fact that Adsense's targeting is good, sometimes it throws up an ad I happen to be intrested in.

So what do I do?
Simple - type the URL under the ad and visit the page manually, then I am not stealing but actaully doing the advertiser a favor as I may order the product they are selling.

Sureley you must've read the TOS?
Since you broke them, to be honest you don't have a leg to stand on, sorry that's all I can say.

It seems to me the only one interested in the ads on my sites are myself LOL.
I think I need to get to work getting more targetted traffic.
But yes,you do have to restrain from clicking on your ads-they are intended for visitors only.

You should have read the TOS right when you signed up for the program.

I don't think you can appeal your case anymore. Of course you can try, but I doubt Google will let you in again, because that is definitely click fraud.

Thanks Guy's for your response. It seem, my luck is nil.

I would explain the situation w/google...if you bought anything from the links you clicked through, maybe google might forgive you

maybe...i dunno :/

Failing to read the TOS is like failing common sense. I mean we don't go around killing people and apologizing so we can get out of the effect (Cause & effect). I do believe in forgiveness but if your not going to bother reading what your agreeing to then that crosses some new bridges.

P.S. You should mention how many google adwords accounts you have had deleted...

hmmm...to get $36.00 from google ads, you must have really been interested in a lot of bonsai links;)

Chances of getting back are minimal but just write to Google admitting your mistake of not reading the TOS carefully and clicking your own ads and give them an assurance that you won't click on your ads again.

I did some research - you must have been doing some serious clicking on your site.
To accumulate that amount of money based on your site!??? Oh incidently your link is dead.

Beg and plea with them if you feel that you have learned your lesson. Be honest and sincere and have them remove the invalid click earnings from your account as an act of good faith.

you could simply do a mouse over and get the url, then simply type it into the address bar... this allows u and google to be fair.. Goto YPN.. ive had better results so far.

business is very unclean deal. you should learn from it and go on. :)
so you have to create new way to cheat Google.
or find another way to earn money.
Good luck.

I average 2-5$ a day. And no I was not doing some serious clicking. I have click a few times, but nothing deliberate.
