Hi Guy's,

Does anyone on here know of good adwords tips and tricks to help drive traffic to your site for the lowest cost?

I know there are hundreds of ebooks out there all asking for $100+ to tell you but Im wondering does anyone on here know any tips they would be willing to share?

Regards,

Rob

The first step is QS. Get your Quality score up and your price will go down. If your QS sucks, you're always going to pay more. Your landing page will need to be optimized and you will need to have the basic 'user friendly' pages on your site such as a privacy policy, contact, terms of service, etc.. Make sure your lander is optimized for the title of your ad and contains good keyword density. I recommend making a lander for each ad. Speaking of ads, make your ads into click magnets. The CTR of your ads is the most important factor, so make appealing ads that people will want to click on.

The second thing, is to learn the basics. Most people never spend the time and energy to even understand how the auction works and are going in blind, which usually isn't very productive.

Keywords. It's all about keywords. Cheap is not always better. I would much rather pay more for a keyword that converts well, than 'save money' on keywords that don't convert. You want keywords that people in 'buy mode' will be using. You don't want to pay for a bunch of traffic that is in 'shopping mode' as your conversion rate will blow.
