try using http://www.adsblacklist.com/ it'll filter out some of the poor paying sponsors.

yea, one of the best ways is to filter out the ads that you think are low paying!

whats your ctr? and what is the url of the site?
if your ctr is low this may be the problem. Also your content may be displaying low paying ads.
