Good Story and what the heck do I do?

Yesterday Xbox released Xbox Diamond for its Live subscribers... www.xboxlivediamond.com -- inturn I registered www.xboxdiamond.com -- I simply put up an iframe of the offical site and the yahoo ads.. All of a sudden I started recieving emails like CRAZY... I began reading the emails-- and it was people asking for support about people registering their usernames or messesups doing the signup... I then discovered on the offical site-- that they listed my domain as the support email

If you believe that someone else has registered with your GamerTag, please send an email to [email protected].

See it with your own eyes-- type in the username Highride or any other reg'd username on www.xboxlivediamond.com

What do you reccommend I do? Am I going to get a cent from this domain? What should I do with it-- develop a site/community based around the xbox diamond card, or keep the Iframe with the ads?

Park it, and be prepared to drop it at a moment's notice. MS is very serious about xbox, and I would think that they will come for this name soon enough.

That's got to be giving you great traffic. I think microsoft will come to you soon enough and you won't have to go to them. Just keep up what youre doing probably..

It only shows my domain for support when you enter a reg'd name-- for example go to http://www.xboxlivediamond.com and type in Highride

imo, if you want to keep the domain, gear your sites towards diamonds/jewelry. microsoft probably won't be happy if you try to make a quick $ off of their mistake. (and dont even think about attempting to sell it to them as-is)

You should set up an auto-responder with a link to one of your other sites or an affiliate in the message. Make a killing.

What you have done is nothing short of stupid. You're using their site and bandwidth without their permission. You need to take that down and contact them, telling they've made an error on their site and hope they dont sue you and take the domain anyway.

1. Make up a quick Forums - Topics XboxDiamond Sucks (there are many other Sucks sites out there - Paypalsuck, etc...)
2. Collect traffic
3. Send email to Foxnews. CNN, NBC, ABC, etc,... tell them MS messes up your site by directing traffic to your site (so they're really sucks!).
4. Important - Waiting for a 2 million dollar compensation check from Bill Gates..

I think you were lucky to get this domain...there mistake for not getting it

they shudda been more careful keep and use as fan site but not for scamming :/ not that u wud do that anyway but hey
