Good niche?

I'm thinking of creating a new website, but I don't really know what kind of niche I should go for.

I'm thinking about a fun site where people can visit whenever they're bored.

Maybe someone can suggest me a good niche?

Any help would be appreciated.

Whatever you do, choose something YOU'RE interested in, otherwise you'll lose interest quickly..

agree with that.

but also, fun stuff, celeb gossip, dating, cars are all very common niche.

unless you are superb at SEO, its gonna be hard to get top results at google.

So find what you like.

e.g I love to drink coffee.

thus use the the overture seach tool to see what people is finding about coffee.
I found out that tassimo coffee would be a nice niche because of not so many competitors.

Feel free to use that idea if you like

Think what you like to do or where u visit when u are bored , whatever it is , it will be good as your niche.
