Going for a simple look

I created www.premierprofile.com today and I think it came out pretty good. I was going for a simple and professional look. Let me know what you think of the design (and service if you use AIM). Where can I improve?

its ok for a clean/simple look, but maybe you should create some kind of rollover effect when mouse goes over links? Maybe you should also add a little more color to the site.

Hi I agree that it is a nice simple sort of sophisticated site, though to liven it up a bit, i would have a java roll over menu instead of the plain hyperlinks along the left. You could also weave in another image, possibly another screen shot, just so it doesnt look quite so empty and to break down the text. You could maybe integrate your header colour a bit more into the main body of your page as well, just to sort of carry your theme throughout.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but the product you are marketing is not for "simple and professional" users (for the most part)......right?

Simple and professional is not what I get out of the site. Simple and low budget....it took me a minute before I fiqured out what I was looking at.

.....Sorry to be so harsh.....

Some suggestions: People don't need to be told that the buttons are for navigation. Run your links across your title bar (with roll-over effects) with a button for "favorite sites" to get some of the clutter off your the main page.

Don't tell me....show me! There is way too much text on the main page. A picture is worth a thousand words.

It looks ok, but IMHO the logo is too simple. It looks kinda cheap and also it takes up too much of the page, eg: make it smaller height-wise. ATM, the logo is the first thing you see when entering the site, and it dosen't give any idea of what you are promoting so I think you should put a little text in the logo, like a slogan or something saying what you are trying to do.

BTW: I don't notice any hyperlink rollover effects, maybe its because I use opera.
