Hey guys! I just created a very simple website that allows a person to copy and paste between devices or people. I just wanted to know what you guys think. This was kind of a simple project to see if i could code it, but does it look like something people would use?

I like your website! Clean and easy to read the text. What about adding a few images to it? It would also be nice if you can get the grey area width cut down. It takes up a lot of space on the page.

I also checked your SEO titles...They are all the same. They should be different targeting different keywords.

Just reviewed on my iPhone and looks great ... Would benefit from an animated demo / tutorial IMHO ... And I couldn't find a terms or privacy policy and given your a) storing potential personal info, and b) wanting to use Adwords you really need to have both to cover ur butt ... Plus the whole 'we'll never share your info' statement stuff should be made up front to reassure users

Thanks so much for the feedback! This really helped!

I will make the SEO better also add the Terms of Use/Privacy Policy. I will also be adding a statement saying I do not share the info and that is stored securely! Also a tutorial is a great idea! Will have to look into that. As for the grey space, I will have to come up with some kind of image to add in there.

Once again, thank you two for the feedback!! It helps a great deal! Would love to get more feedback if anyone else has anything.

- load jquery from google cdn/ms cdn/jquery.com
- no need to load a whole bunch of bootstrap .js files if you dont use them (carousel, scrollspy, typeahead etc)
- do you really need slow 27Kb widget from twitter to just put a simple followme button in the header? you load font-awesome but i dont see you using it?
- adsense s*cks on simple app sites..i'd never use one with adsense on it.. looks bad and cheap
- google drive powered contact form makes the whole thing uglier than it needs to be with just bootstrap plus usual lamp stack ..and it's not responsive too..
- design and typography suck
- everything else is great except a domain name and the whole service idea
- why the hell a clip is returned in a textarea instead of a nicely formatted div?
- urls like www.sendclip.com/sc/code/IX0t should be www.sendclip.com/IX0t - look much better and professional this way

Well first of all, thank you for the feedback! Haha! Definitely got grilled!

All of your points makes sense! This was intended to be just a side project to see if I could code it. I do need to take the extra js files im not using out. I was already thinking about removing the Adsense, not really doing much. The form, I did take a shortcut on, I could code one in. I decided to return the clip in a textarea because it would make copying and selecting the text easier. I use autofocus on the text when a user clicks in it, it will select all of the text. It is supposed to at least. The links are that way they are because of how codeignitor works, I guess i could change it up a bit and have them like that. Would have to figure out how though.

Honestly, after all of that.. I think I will just scrap it. Haha. Only reason I even took it this far was because I saw people actually using it.
