I recently contacted godaddy support to use my grace period on a few purchased domains that I decided I didn't want. They told me how to delete the domains, and they approved the refund (still waiting it for it to show up in my bank account), but out of curiousity I checked today to see if the domains have actually been deleted, so someone else can purchase them if they wanted to, but they haven't been let go, and it says the below on them:
Name Server: NS1.SUSPENDED-FOR.SPAM-AND-ABUSE.COM
Name Server: NS2.SUSPENDED-FOR.SPAM-AND-ABUSE.COM
They aren't in my name anymore, but will they eventually be released to the public to buy? or what? Why would they use those kind of name servers on them? They were never used for spam or abuse.
I know at Dynadot it's so easy to do a grace period deletion, and the money is automatically returned to your dynadot account, and the name is automatically available to register again right away. What's up with GoDaddy's way of doing it?
