GoDaddy? What's going on!

I registered an .info domain via Godaddy on the 29th September, and received a confirmation letter that the domain name has been registered successfully. Then 2 days later, I received another email from them telling me that it was some kind of .info error, so they gave me a refund. However, when I checked on WHOIS information, obviously the name was registered under someone else's name, but registry is Godaddy and the date which he/she got the name is the 30th September. So what's going on here?!

Same thing happened to me.
Godaddy registered - sent receipt and confirmation. It was in my account - I parked it and it got traffic.

2 days later I get a phone call from Godaddy telling me 'some kind of error ... bla bla ...

They cancelled the domain and sent me refund of my 2 bucks.

Very bad business.

thanks for sharing the link. there was another thread about someone losing their .info too so this clarifies what happened.

Yeah, can't blame GoDaddy for that one.
