GoDaddy said it is removing Russia’s .ru and .ru.com (a CentralNic subdomain targeted to Russia) from its top-level domain options and removing .ru from the aftermarket. It’s also closing the Russian version of its website and will no longer accept the Russian Ruble as currency.

IONOS, a large registrar part of United Internet, is terminating all Russian customers and refusing to take new ones. It’s also reviewing all of its supplier relationships.

I think GoDaddy's approach has been the most sensible. They're taking a stand, also trying to avoid targeting ordinary citizens, such as closing their accounts or "terminating services".

Godaddy, virtue-signaling, as always!

Little too late, plus GD’s weak outside U.S.

I suspect, Russia’s <1% of Godaddy market.

It was expectable that sooner or later domain market will also be affected.
