Hey guys,

For some reason in my "Payments And Renewing Items" section at GoDaddy, I can't get rid of "SMTP Email Relay - 50 per day N/A".

I check it off,
Then I go up to "Cancel Item",
Then I select "Cancel Now",
And finally I hit "Save Changes".

After all of that, it spits this message at me:
GoDaddy said:
Your changes have been submitted!
There will be a short duration while your request is pending update.

Even after doing this about fifteen times, it's still on my list and won't go away.
It's set to renew January 3rd, and I want to get rid of it by then so I don't get billed for something bogus I don't need/want.

Please help,
Andy

Hey. It's impossible to take off. It says to call billing to cancel on mine. So I called. Support said they cancelled it. I get billed for it a week later. I call in again saying I cancelled it and they said 'nope we can't cancel anything for you over the phone, we just give you directions how to.' I convince them that a support person said they cancelled it for me a week before and they send me a 2.95 refund for the renewal. Then, after holding for about 30 minutes, the support guy says he finally got it cancelled. I have his name and the time I called recorded. However, it's still in my account and going to renew again soon. Two support people can't cancel it after a total of about an hour on the phone with them. I'm convinced it's impossible to remove.

Well, I hope disabling auto renew works, even if it is impossible to cancel. :(
Do you guys think canceling the agreement with Paypal WILL do it, or will they just hold that against you until you go through Paypal or put a credit card to the account?

Thank you for the feedback guys,
Andy
