GoDaddy selling expired domains they don't own?

I won (I was only bidder) coinclap.com on a godaddy expired auction. Just bought it because I thought it was fairly memorable.

However looking p at the who is, this domain doesn't seem to be associated with gd - so is this some sort of cockup?

Not really fussed and not particularly interested in the domain, just bought it on a whim. If I don't end up getting it I won't mind as long as I get my 12 bucks back.

They sell expired domains from many different registrars

I always get those that I won. It must have shown $12 + one time transfer fee of $XX (normal renewal fee at gd). You are likely to get in upto 10 days, from my experience. All details are available in the particular domain's listing page while auction is live.
