I had several domains pushed to me at various different registrars which all look like GoDaddy. I presume these are reseller sites. When I try to set up an account with each of these it appears I cannot use the same login name as my Godaddy account.

Do I have to have a separate account on each with different usernames? Are they in any way all linked to GoDaddy so I can manage all from one account?

Sorry if this appears a dumb question!

Yes you have to use a new username with each, i add the number 1 or 2 or 3 whatever it is to the end of my username i use with godaddy, on all the wild west reseller accounts i happen to use. I sent an email asking if we could do free transfers within the godaddy/wildwestdomains companies since they are owned by GD, but they said no. Wow that would have been great if we could have done that.
Good luck! hope that helps.

No, you cant. Atleast I've tried and failed. :'(

No, you cannot use one account for all GD/WWD reseller sites. You cannot even push domains between sites. People gripe about that (not the resellers, just customers) but that would be bad for the resellers plus GD needs to keep it's brand separate from their resellers to protect it's value. Just treat GD resellers as separate, unrelated registrars.

I do hate this rule denying you from transferring. after all tey belong to the same parent company.
But i guess this is always the case with all registrars offering resellers accounts. Not sure though.

This just helps GoDaddy get more customers because no one wants to buy from a GoDaddy reseller. The reason is because if they bought the name to sell it than no one will want to have it at a registrar that no one knows of.
