Today Godaddy has refunded all my registered domains without warning, ive just recieved refund notification at paypal and my domains just gone. I cant even login at godaddy.

What happened???

Hmmm....that's pretty bad. I would call them right away, as I have not experienced this.

The only reason I'd imagine why a "reputable" registrar like Go Daddy would do
that is...fraud.

Where are you from? Any recent issues with them other than this?

I've never heard about this before, I would contact Godaddy immediately to see what's going on, seems strange.

it happened suddently.ALL my domains just gone. Im from greece.








wtf is going on??? i have sent message at [email protected] and noone answered.

In your images, it seems it is saying that they were cancelled according to your request. Did you by any chance accidentally cancel them yourself or could someone have gotten access to your account. Check Whois.net to see if registration has changed. By contacting GoDaddy immediately by phone you could get this resolved more quickly and be within the time frame so can get the domains back.

There are a few reasons this could happen. If its a blatant TM violation, thats one (even though it may slip through).

The other is it was scrubbed by fraud. Is the phone number on your account valid? Also - Did you purchase the domains using a paypal account or credit card that is not located near you?

IE - My Credit card says im from California, but I purchased everything from an IP that says im in Canada... that would lead to a fraud scrub. If everything is on the up an dup though, and you can satisfy the issue, you can get the domain names back.

ak007 is right, you, or someone with access to your control panel manually cancelled all your domains, and most likely closed your entire account since you cant log in.

this has nothing to do with fraud or tm violation.

Actually, this is probably not likely. That notification is sent for almost any reason....

i've never gotten that for anything except when i cancelled a domain

This is sent just about anytime a domain is canceled from the system. Believe me... I know.

Their answer is this:


This customer account has been locked. The payment method used has been
suspended from further use in our system. All charges made to this payment method were refunded and all products were canceled. The refund should be posted back to the original payment method within 5 - 7 business days or up to 10 days for international accounts.

This action was taken for one or more of the following reasons:
ยข The billing information provided to us at the time of purchase does not match that on record.
ยข The billing information provided appears to be incomplete/invalid.
ยข It appears that someone other than the authorized payment method account holder may have made the purchase using a computer from outside of the listed billing locale.
ยข We were unable to verify purchase authorization with the listed payment method account holder.

Please have the payment method account holder provide correct billing information and a viewable copy of his/her government issued valid photo identification - such as a driver's license or passport.

A scanned image (under 100,000 Bytes in size) can be attached as a response to this message, or faxed to:

You should immediately:
-Login to your paypal and check if everything is alright.
-Check your bank balance that is funding source for your paypal
-Call godaddy and ask them what happened.

Maybe your paypal account info was stolen. You might lose more than domains if this is the case.

When was your oldest domain registered? Were all your godaddy domains registered recently? It is unlikely they will delete old domains months later for payment problems.

and register them
