Domain Refunded Error

I just recieved an email from godaddy stating that my domain had been refunded. my website is now not working? what can i do, i had not requested this. how long will it be before i can purchase the domain again?

Most likely they let you register a domain that was no longer available. Domain availability check at godaddy seems not be real-time, therefore unreliable.
