GoDaddy - Grace delete

If I want to "grace delete" a few domains do I need to call them or can I use chat on their website?
Should I delete domains first and then ask for a refund?

No way AFAIK. There is a toll-free number. If you deleted the domain first, there is some chance that you can still claim the refund as an exception, I did that once.

You can do it via chat. I have.

I'd suggest letting them delete them. I've never requested more than one at a time.
