GoDaddy Expired Auction Problem

Hey guys,

I've won a lot of names at GoDaddy's expired auctions and never had a problem until now. I won a couple names on April 5th around there and they were supposed to be delivered to my account on the April 13th as usual. But they never were.

GoDaddy did not contact me to inform me that the names were renewed nor did they credit me back the purchase. As it is now a week later, I was annoyed.

I filled out a few support tickets and they finally told me that the names had been renewed by the original registrant and that they will credit my account.

When I look at the whois, it shows

So the last update shows as March 25th, well before I won it at auction.

So I wonder whether it really was renewed or not. And if it was, it bothers me that GoDaddy did not inform me or credit me without me having to contact them.

You guys have any experience with this?
