GoDaddy Down / Connection Issues?

Is anybody having and extremely difficult time getting anything to work at GoDaddy auctions the last hour or so? Either page load times in the minutes instead of seconds, or complete time-outs?

I missed bidding on a name I really wanted .. and can't access some closeouts!

GoDaddy is dying a slow death today - I was bidding on some auctions and it literally took 2-3 minutes for them to load.

Godaddy is such a tremendous waste of time sometimes, things as simple as a transfer get jammed in their diaper driven system I wonder how they continue to grow or even exist.

At Amazon we have what is called an "Andon cord."

In simple terms, it means if there is an issue found, at any level, the entire process must be stopped until the issue is fixed. Nothing goes from beta to deployment until all known bugs are fixed. If unknown bugs occur after deployment someone must pull the "Andon cord" to stop and reset to the previous settings.

This is a core philosophy straight from the founder, Bezos. The "Andon cord" was originally developed for assembly lines, but Bezos brought the philosophy to technology.

I would suggest other technology companies look into the "Andon cord" practice.

I had same issue. I was trying to get to my domains but Godaddy had some sort of connection issue and i was not able to get to the dashboard.

If they don't fix these issues i will have to move my domains else where.

Some challenges may come with the size of activities on their platform, but they need to put in place resources that is required to resolve such issues ASAP.

Found a workaround to domains can not be loaded.

The issue appears to be our account not being logged in but GD showing its logged in.

Click on normal login and click on VIEW PIN option. From that link go to your domain manager and domains should load.

Anyone get this when you accept contact info change during a transfer?
( Given Request is invalid ) ?? that makes one confident. ....
but i actually think this means it worked, what a mess of a company.

True. I have been a Godaddy customer for over 15 years but am having issues with Godaddy since a year. or so. Have started buying domains elsewhere. I wish they would pull their socks up. They were perfect once.
