GoDaddy doesn’t show listed-for-sale domains at all.

If your domain isn’t using Afternic’s DNS, even if it’s listed for sale, it won’t appear in search results—unless the user searches for your exact domain.

For example, if your domain is ABC.xyz, it won’t show up when someone searches ABC. It only appears when they search ABC.xyz exactly.

What’s even more ridiculous is that GoDaddy keeps recommending all kinds of random domains, and the shortest length you can filter for is five characters—you can’t even search for 3- or 4-letter names. GoDaddy is just absurd!

Try with .com domains; all of my domains show up just fine, without using Afternic NS.

Just checked a few of mine and surprisingly on a few 3 word .coms I own I got them to show up just by typing in the first 2 words which shocked me as figured would be all alternate .crap extensions. None of my nameservers have gone to Afternic in quite a while been mainly NamePros and my Atom white label.

I won't applaud GoDaddy yet until I see what this is first....

As it may power GoDaddy with Boost galore fees :xf.eek:

That’s what it means when the search results show other extensions — it’s GoDaddy’s deliberate punishment. In contrast, Namecheap is much more user-friendly, and I really hope Spaceship replaces Afternic soon.
