Many of the codes are geo-locked these days. Try calling, I've heard a few people have gotten codes from customer service, or had codes that didn't work made to work via customer service.
I'm in the U.S. and in the past month I've registered a dozen or so, none over $2.17. Best of luck!

Godaddy has become bloody expensive.. I still remember when 8 years ago I had 1000+ domains with them and was registering .coms under $2,5.
90% of the codes I see in this thread don't work for whichever reason and looks like there's no way to pay less than $8.7 per domain renewal with GDBB776 or GD50BBPD5.. I'll consider moving somewhere else.

Sadly, just tried, hoping it would come through again, no luck. However, gofdcca43 is still working for 99¢ + 18¢=$1.17 dot com, and supposed to be for up to 3 domains, however, it only worked for one domain for me ...and looking back, I already used it once, so maybe twice :D (USA).

I think a lot of domainers are already doing this, including myself. The only problem is that I have much more domains compared to the amount of Godaddy transfer codes out there.

Only problem is when you sell a domain name and the one thing which kills the deal is that the buyer wont allow a push to a Go Daddy account, they want a full transfer. And if you're within that 60-day transfer window you lose the deal. Happened to me already.
