codes I have collected on this thread. Codes might have expired or might be invalid, never tried to use them, just collected. I usually use $1 to $3 codes. :)

Hope they help. Please write back which one worked for you, so it will help others.

P : is for privacy protection
x3 : works for 3 domains
x5 : works for 5 domains
some codes work for more then 1 domain, even if not explicitly mentioned.
some codes also give privacy protection for free or lower price. To see if Privacy Protection is free, try adding privacy protection to domain in the cart.

The renewal coupons that I'm using are only dropping .org down to $8.99. They still work for getting .net down to $7.99. Does anyone have a working $7.99 .org renewal coupon? Thanks.

Just joined the Domain Club--my rep gave me a deal on a year: $62.99.

And I still can use coupons.

This may not be for everyone, though, but I went through the numbers, and it just makes sense for me.

Renewal coupons are getting difficult to use, and I suspect that new regs are not far behind.

Thanks for sharing :)

Yikes. I've never seen a renewal for a .net that high there. Is it possible the price is combined with something else like the actual winning bid?

If so, codes don't bring down the bid part, only the renewal part.

here's an update on this...
... the winning bid was for $71
... the dot net in my cart was for the additional $17, totaling out at $88
NO dot net coupon codes were being accepted no matter what i did
typically, using a renewal coupon code (whether dot com or dot net) would reduce the price of the renewal, but this wasn't working)

i called them up... for whatever reason, they couldn't push this deal through using the coupon codes either...
... so, what we did was...

... pay the full $88
... and then refund me $9 (which was what the code i was going to use would have saved me)

- - - - - - -

Also of note
... this is kind of funny
... because i couldn't get these coupon codes to work on this winning auction, i figured i would try to see if they worked with a regular dot net within my portfolio - just to see if the code(s) may have been expired or no longer work

... so i'm at the backend domain manager - i check the box that says 'renew domain name' - i select for one year.... and then the new go daddy system offers me the choice of 'Express Checkout' or 'Standard Checkout' (something like that.

... i chose 'Express' thinking that it would simply bypass all the landmines that they put in your path on your way to checkout and then i would enter the coupon code once at the cart

NOPE - BEWARE !!!

This actually meant FULL CHECKOUT - which means FULL PAY - no coupons!!

So - i wound up paying $17 to renew a dot net domain while i was just trying to attempt to test out other dot net codes

No worries, just a bit of a hassle as i called them up and got my $9 refund in the end

... but just wanted to share that story so none of you make the same mistake - there are only going to be so many refunds allowed - regardless of whose fault it was - before they won't issue you one back.

Best of luck all

were the codes you were trying to use for renewals or new .nets? also .net and .org prices just went up on July 1st so maybe all the old codes no longer work.

Always choose to go through their mess of a checkout. I wish they'd offer "domainers" the option of a simplified system without all the hype and rubbish they seem to want to throw at the average joe.

Anyway, I make sure I have no credit card associated with "express" checkout and I dont choose it. But if I do, it wont work since I havent associated a credit card with it. Try that.
