Make bulk order - ie. 30 .coms and enter code ( gdz324bc ) which lowers total amount for %30. That should give you best price on bulk regs.

And yes, sometimes codes can lower items that are already discounted - cjAFF30 was one of them, but they dont last long

Another question (probably stupid again) - when I transfer in bulk, I will be able to get free whois privacy. But if I renew my names in bulk the next year will I be able to keep the privacy protection for free? Or has Bob a sneaky upsale in place for this szenario?

If you have a lot to transfer, contact GoDaddy directly. They might give you a discount if you talk to them about it. They love acquiring new domains there & would probably offer you a cheaper transfer rate if you let them know of your intentions. Or free whois. Whatever your aim

I was talking about transfers. About privacy, usually you have to pay for it next year if you get it for free during reg/transfer.

I think I've seen coupons before where you got free private whois and a discount when renewing, not 100% positive though.

I guess you could always transfer the domains you really want to be private to internetbs.net, you get free privacy and transfers are $7.45.

To get that link, I've used godaddy coupons and godaddy discounts
and it's usually the first sponsored link.
after getting to the godaddy site, top left corner in the yellow box
says up to 3 domains for 6.99

Yes. I just search for "Domain Names" (no quotes) and get the advertisement to click on.
