:bingo: I couldn't agree more!

Funny thing is - this code was originally posted on 2/24 by TLDepot, which is only two simple pages back. Had those complaining taken the time to read these prior pages they would have known cjAFF30 is a 30% off code. So, quite right that it only gives, well...30% off!

These types of codes tend to work best with ccTLD Regs and Renewals or bulk buys. IMO, enjoy the savings while this great code is still active.

Incidentally, gdbbc1026 still works giving 25% Off your entire order. No minimum / Exp: Unknown

Still not as good as cjAFF30 in my book. :kickass:

-Regards

I keep getting this message when trying to use coupon codes:

"This promotion has changed due to increased prices from the registry effective July 1st, 2010. The updated price is reflected in your cart."

Can't get a .net or .org for under $15, any ideas?

I was getting that too on some of them, this code cjc749b005
brings .net and .org new regs to $9.99 so far it's the lowest.
But there is still a few to check.

EDIT-Nevermind the above code I just posted,
just tried what CrazyAboutDomains posted, the Cwm7 for a .com,
also brought the .net and .org down to 7.49 each ;)
(with a starting price of 9.99 if it makes a diff -using the first code to get it to that)

Use cjc795dom to bring it down to $8.13, currently the cheapest renewal code. Kudos to skylineleong :)

Saved me $40 on an order, the other two codes didn't work.

cjc749b005 $8.13 .com renewal

Cwm7 $7.67 .net/.org renewal

(edit: I might have exchanged these two codes w/ each other, pls check both)

cjAFF30 $20.99 .tv renewal (30% off)

(edit2: I've only used this for a transfer in, not really a renewal, but seems it works)

I want to explain what I found out in my experience with GD codes lately. I dont think he or she did anything wrong, per say. It has to do with the Go Daddy Item/SKU that the domain name is categorized as -- I think....

UPDATE: I am beginning to the differences are also determined by account somehow. Do you belong to a
Discount Domain Club maybe? I dont know. There ARE differences between all of my domains in my one account. And there are differences between our accounts as we can see from the various posts..

I have been posting about this over the past few weeks. There seems to be CERTAIN domain names in our Go Daddy portfolios that will NOT respond to coupon codes well OR at all! (dot com names in my experiences)

Check my previous posts. It has something to do with whether or not the domain name goes into your shopping cart with a discount already or not. I cant figure it out. I think it depends on how you originally purchased the name but I can not be sure about that. I do know for sure that there is some subtle difference that Go Daddy uses to calculate how the coupon works and it is different on some domains in my portfolio (and I see from the other posts here that others are experiencing this too).

I also think that the domain names that I transferred into GD from elsewhere do not respond to coupon codes. At least for me that seems to be the case. YMMV.

Another gotcha that I noticed (for me at least) with this cjAFF30 code is that it stops working with the 6th domain name in my cart. I can only renew 5 domain names MAX and these are domain names that somehow conform to allowing the code to work.

Its a bit of work to figure out which names work but I think its worth it when I renewed 200 names over the last week or so saving me LOTS of money over the 8-something renewal codes out there.

I am currently experimenting with a few of domains to try and determine how and why this code seems to work "variably", and he is what is happening for me:

1) one dot com name, with Sku: 10101-1, which has a "Rate/Discount Price" of 11.99 but marked down to 10.91 only comes down to $7.82 with the code: cjAFF30.

2) a different dot com, with Sku: 10101-1, has a "Rate/Discount Price" of 11.99 but marked down to 10.30 and it gets discounted to down to $7.39 with the code: cjAFF30

I cant get any lower than 7.39. None of my domain names go into my cart at a price of $9.48. Do you know what the SKU number of those domains are? I wish I could get $6.69!!! That is an awesome renewal price. Enjoy it while it lasts!
I just tried individually renewing my domains with CJAFF30. Most came out more expensive than the $8.17 I could get with other codes. However, I was able to renew three at $6.47 each and one at an incredibly low $6.16 inc. ICANN fee! Rate discount/price for this domain was at $8.55 for some reason before the code was applied. Same Sku: 10101-1. See attached screenshot. IDK why some are cheaper but it's clearly worth checking all of your domains individually if you have the time.
