Well, there doesn't seem to be anything for .us renewals (just did one at $7.99) ... the cjcPRESDAY code mentioned earlier doesn't work for a renewal ; perhaps only for new registrations.

Anyone else with a working code for discount .US renewals (other than 499domain, as that is once per account)...

How did you get it for $7.99?

GoDaddy is asking $19.99 for .us renewals!

For me to renew a .us for $9.99, I had to renew 5 other domains (all .com) at the same time and they all had to be added to the cart at the same time. Two of the .com names had privacy, so that may have helped too.
