downforce for 15% off my entire order... brought it down to $33

Does downforce require a minimum purchase amount?

BTW, we've managed to STACK downforce along with cjcbentld :) for doubledipping savings.

How did you manage to stack two promo codes? It seems that when you use one, then use another, it cancels out the first one..

Indeed, it usually does.

We had about 7 .us domains to renew. Had all 7 in the renewal shopping cart. First applied DOWNFORCE, then added CJCBENTLD and it reduced the renewal order price cumulatively.

Note that this was over a year ago, and was for a multiple domain renewal of over $150... YMMV and I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't work today or didn't work for lower volume (single domain) registrations or renewals.

No harm in trying, IMHO. DOWNFORCE first, then CJCBENTLD.

Just regged a .net domain with the coupon 299BUYCOM. It still works.

So, bottom line, I understand there is no decent .US renewal code/coupon available. Thanks, Go daddy. If I am wrong, please correct me. I guess my WWWE.US domain will just have to die on the vine as I will NOT spend $19.95 to renew it.
You might try the Domain Discount Club. Generally, with these coupons, you get prices slightly lower than what the Domain Discount Club offers. However, when there are no current coupons or you want to renew a domain with TLD where coupons are rare, the club prices will still save you money. My US renewals are $7.29. I just renewed 150. If the price you quote is accurate, I saved $1,899. ($19.95 x 150 = $2,992.50) - ($7.29 x 150 = 1093.5) = $1,899.

Yes , you can if the domain expired in the last 29days . I just pushed a domain that expired 21 days ago to another godaddy a/c ( can only be transferred to other GODADDY a/c )

How did you manage that? I have tried numerous times, never with any success.
Not even one day after expiry...
In fact I just tried again on a COM that expired 10 days ago (Sept.13)...no dice.
Here was the error message from Godaddy:

"Selected items could not be processed.
We cannot perform the specified action on domains that are about to expire: Show Domain"

DNF5 works for $7.57 COM renewals (inclusive of the ICANN fee), just in case anyone was having trouble with DNF2

Seems COM reg would be $7.57 as well.

Cool thanks for sharing. That one will probably be hitting the coupon quota limit soon (it has a max number of uses globally associated with it) but if anyone hasn't used it yet; now is the time!

Are coupons applicable to GoDaddy's Expired Domains Auctions?

Are coupons applicable to GoDaddy's Expired Domains Auctions?

Coupons seems to work normally, when applied to the cart for domains won on "Expired Domains" auctions.
But if you read carefully the "View offer limitations", it seems that coupons are NOT applicable to auction domains.

So what? Apply or not apply?
What can go wrong?
Might they (later) cancel the auction that you win, if you use the promo code?

I'm a little confused.

I noticed that too but coupons have worked fine for me on auction domains - I assumed therefore that it means the discount is applied to the domain renewal cost but the limitation is that there is no discount on the auction fee part of the price, i.e anything above the normal domain renewal fee.

:hi:

When you win a Godaddy Expired domain auction there are two fees involved.

1)The winning auction bid amount
2)The renewal fee for the winning expired domain

When you use a coupon on an expired auction what is being discounted is the Renewal fee.

You can't use a coupon to discount the winning auction bid.

I believe that is what GoDaddy means by "coupons are NOT applicable to auction domains."

I have used coupons on many, many expired domain auctions at GoDaddy to discount the
renewal cost and have never had a problem afterwards.
