Funny I registered a .org this morning (early!) and must have tried about a dozen of the ones listed on the last few pages - no luck.

Still is, but now you can get new .org registrations for $5.99 (plus the usual surcharge):

i was on the phone with godaddy yesterday and asked about this. there are no freebies no matter how many domians you register. i asked about discounts putting privacy on ~40 domains. nothing.

i mention it would just be cheaper to get a PO Boxa nd she wouldn't give up anything.
