it would be cool if there was a way to run a code through a filter before posting it here to see if its new.

Surely someone is a programmer here and can automate it. It could be simple - not checking
for renew or transfer or anything, just check for one thing: is it new. So we can stop seeing
duplicate posts. People have good intentions, we can just make this thread more efficient.

OK I figured it out! To see if a code has appeared in any of the 100's of pages in this thread, try this,
e.g. for code ttb199 we see search results so ttb199 has already been discussed:

ttb199 site:https://www.namepros.com/threads/godaddy-discount-codes.577802

but if we search for ttb199abc, we get no search results so that would be one that has never been posted:

ttb199abc site:https://www.namepros.com/threads/godaddy-discount-codes.577802

So: save that whole line, put in any code on the left and you can see if it has been discussed yet!

Yes, that's a nice way. Of course we don't generate the codes, we find them somewhere on the internet and bring them here to share with NamePros fellows.

What is the point of copying & pasting the codes from other pages of the same thread? Imagine if everyone starts doing that how would this thread look.

I have a suggestion. Don't post codes that don't work. Only post codes that you have just used yourself or had taken the time out to verify with Godaddy that it does work. Simple process since you don't have to reg a name - just verify that it works before checkout.
