GoDaddy Courtesy Drop

How do I do a courtesy drop with GoDaddy? I ordered a domain name but changed my mind. Can I drop it and get a refund? Thanks in advance!

contact GD support and see if they can help, as long as their daily drop quota hasn't been met, you're likely to get a refund for another domain purchase.

You need to visit the account manager and delete the domain, then email godaddy support and tell them you have deleted the domain and ask for a refund. Ive never had a problem when I do it that way.

You just do the delete first? I don't need to contact them to get the note first.. good to know.

Yeah delete first, within the timescale obviously. When you ask them to grace delete the name, they come back at you with delete it from your list then email back, so you already know what to do. If you delete first, then pm saying you made a mistake, you have done everything right and by the book. Refund is a given (well have been for me of which ive been very happy at times)

Note to self. Never buy domains after a heavy night on the lash.
