GoDaddy coupons, Do they work on renewals?

I have two questions

1. if i buy a domain name using a discount coupon, do the same price will be applicable on renewals too?

No I guess, so better question is, is there any discount coupon which have price lock facility


2. Do godaady also offeres coupons for renewals?

I just google'd Godaddy promo codes, and found this one:

Yes the coupons work on renewals. You will need to find the right code though. You may also sign up for the Godaddy Codes via their newsletter. You will get a few, like 1 - 3 times a week depending on how 'ole Bob is feeling. Go to the Go daddy Deals at Godaddy.com. It will be on the right hand side panel. Just enter your email. And you will get the coupon info. Most registars have newsletters with their own coupon codes. So just browse their homepages to sign up for them.

But here is a list of sites that post domain registar coupon codes that they recieve via the newsletters.

Here are some sites that post discount coupons for various things at many registars. Anything from buy 2 for 1, renewls, mass domain buying et cetera. And not all Domain Registar Coupon websites report and or have the same coupon codes for some items. Have to browse site to site for what you need.
