How long does it take for a contact information change? Both parties have confirmed the change. This happened 38 hours ago. Domain is still locked in Pending Update status.

In my experience usually just a couple of minutes at most once both parties have confirmed the change.

Both sides have accepted the change immediately.

Contact GoDaddy support.

Has the person receiving the domain gone into their GD account and Accepted the push? That is a separate step that comes after both parties approving the contact changes.

The problem is that the domain is "locked" in pending status for more than 48 hours.

Contact info change can take up to 5 days.

I just tried to accept 4 pushes at GoDaddy and all 4 domains from several sellers and every confirmation I accepted, was rejected. Previously, every previous acceptance has been approved. It doesn't make any sense to send me an approval email, if they are just going to reject the approval. That's just MADNESS. I haven't changed my contact info.

Having this same issue myself right now and GoDaddy support has been of no use. Here is what's happened so far.

-Sold a domain
-Buyer paid
-I started the change of accounts on June 17th using the buyer's email and his contact info
-I confirmed on June 17th the contact info update email that GoDaddy sent to me.
-Buyer never received the contact info update email to confirm.
-On June 19th I went into my GoDaddy account and selected to resend the contact info update emails. I never received an email about confirming the contact info update again, but wasn't sure I would or not since I had already confirmed my part. Buyer still did not receive the email.
-Domain has never shown up in the pending account changes (I assume because it must be confirmed by both parties first)
-This morning, June 20th I went into my GoDaddy account and selected to cancel the pending updates in the hopes that I could restart the domain push. Got a message that said 'We are processing your cancellation...'
-Still stuck in pending update status after a couple of hours.
-Contacted GoDaddy support via chat and after one hour on chat just trying to explain everything to the rep I am now going bald. The chat log I had with GoDaddy would be hilarious if it wasn't so frustrating.

Any help would be much appreciated.
I'll include @stub as you're often very helpful and knowledgeable

This is how my buyer solved the problem:

"OK, been having weird issues with Chrome browser, so I logged into my account using Firefox browser instead and it worked!

Message: Updates have been submitted and can take up to 5 days to display.

Good to know for next time someone is having same issue."

Maybe I'm missing something but I'm not sure how that would help in my case. If there was something they were unable to click on in their GoDaddy account then I could see changing browsers helping. My buyer is not even receiving the email to confirm the contact info update, which if both parties don't confirm the contact info change then the pending account change will never show up for them to manually accept. Right?
