Hello guys,
I’m still learning domain investing and today I did a small research exercise on GoDaddy Closeout domains.
A bit of context: I'm 14 years old and not actively buying yet, this is purely a research and learning exercise for now.
This time I tried to use a stricter process:
At first, BioSandFilter.com looked like the strongest research candidate because it has a clear product-category use case in water filtration / clean-water projects.
But after live checking, it showed around 1999 EUR, so it is not a closeout buy anymore. At that price, I would skip it.
My final result:
Skip
For GoDaddy Closeouts, I should not trust feed price alone. I need to manually confirm the exact domain in ExpiredDomains and GoDaddy cart before calling anything a buy candidate.
I’m not sure if my research pattern is correct yet, so I would really appreciate feedback from experienced investors.
Thanks everyone.

A bit of context: I'm 14 years old and not actively buying yet, this is purely a research and learning exercise for now.
This time I tried to use a stricter process:
- Start from ExpiredDomains / GoDaddy Closeout list
- Filter for .com, no hyphen, no numbers, natural word order
- Check if the domain has a real commercial use case
- Check buyer pool and possible end users
- Check WHOIS / nameservers
- Check whether the closeout price is still real
- Decide buy / small bet / watchlist / skip

My final result:
Skip
- BioSandFilter.com - good thesis, but price is too high at 1999 EUR
- ResourceAuthority.com - usable name, but weak buyer proof
- NorthBeverages.com - usable brand shape, but not enough exact demand
- EveryEducator.com / GarmentsToday.com / SaveOnCoils.com - stale feed or already in investor inventory
- MarbleResponse.com / AndrologyConsult.com - weak wording or weak buyer thesis
- MalpracticeInsurancePros.com - only if live price is around $5-$15
- BicycleTrading.com - only if live price is under $60
