GoDaddy Auctions question

hello, I'm not sure if I'm posting this one on the right section of the forum, I hope so...

today I noticed that the domain names that I have posted for sale on Sedo, appear available at GoDaddy Auctions, even those that I did not register wit GoDaddy...

I'm a GoDaddy costumer, but I'm not a member of GoDaddy auctions, I never put those domains for sale on GoDaddy, and I'm not sure what will happen if one of those names gets an offer trough GoDaddy...

will I have to pay a commission to both GoDaddy and Sedo? does anybody know how that works? is there any deal or partnership between Sedo and GoDaddy?:?

I like to have my domains exposed in as many sited as I can, but I don't wanna pay double commissions if I ever get to sell one of my domains:p...

If your domain is showing up For Sale on Godaddy then you must have put your domains on Buy Now at Sedo.

All Buy Now domains at Sedo are automatically For Sale at Godaddy and Yes if you sell that domain at Godaddy then Sedo will charge you 20%

Even though you may not have signed up for Sedo's MLS you still get pulled in by the Buy Now program.

If you sell the Buy Now domain at Sedo and you have the domain parked at Sedo then you will only be charged 10%

You would have to cancel your Buy Now option to stop any sale at Godaddy.

Yes if you are using the Buy Now option at Sedo.

If you dont want your domain to be for sale at Godaddy then change your sale setting to Make Offer.

thank you for your responses, 20% is a big commission (but if I don't sell, 20% of $0 will still be $0...), I'll have to think about that

Can't you just amend the Buy Now price and add 20%? That's what I would do.
