Is anyone else having problems with FireFox and GoDaddy Auctions?

1. I cannot click on the cart
2. GoDaddy doesn't show I'm logged in when I am. And I'm always having to re-login.
3. Their script is always giving me errors.
4. Plenty of other stuff as well.

I pointed this out to GoDaddy. They only suggested clearing my cookies, which I did, but it didn't help. I sent the screenshots of the cart button a) in Auctions and 2) in My Account. They came back that they couldn't find anything wrong and suggested I use Chrome instead.

Everything works in Chrome, as it should. But Firefox is really broken with GoDaddy Auctions. So far it works fine with GoDaddy DCC. But I guess it's only a matter of time before they F$$k that up too.

A question about Chrome. I see it's the most used browser today (with over 40% market penetration). But I'm used to Firefox (with sub 20% market penetration). I like Firefox for all it's add-ons. Does Chrome have the same options of add-ons? If so. Where do I find them? Should I change from FireFox to Chrome as my main browser? I have to use Chrome when I'm visiting GoDaddy Auctions.

Their website is always bloated and loaded with unnecessary gimmicks, browser issues are bound to happen.
But they probably don't care about the poor user experience.

They definitely don't care. They don't even acknowledge there is any problem with FireFox. Yet they recommend Chrome for a better user experience. Which reading between the lines says, Yeah we know the user experience of FireFox is broken. But they won't admit it.

But back to the original question. Is anybody using FireFox having the same problems as me, with GoDaddy Auctions.

not the same problem, but I do have an occasional problem when doing searches of the auctions.

the search will seem to run properly, but any results are 'below' the screen, and I can't scroll down. when this happens, I switch to Iron browser (a variation of Chrome), and it works.

Same thing happens with me sometimes. Have to reload the page.

Not only that... sometimes when I decide to buy or place a bid, I find I've already been logged out and have to log in again. Any way to extend that time period?

I have been getting that too, I just use the down arrow on my keyboard but it is annoying that kind of basic function does not work.

I also got some problems with Safari, but they are random. You may use Chrome one week and the next week Firefox would also work and you can switch again, just try.

I use Chrome and I don't get such problem.

As you are asking for addons so I would say that you can get addons for Chrome as well, major addons which work for Firefox, works for Chrome too..

So if I download an add-on to FireFox it will install in Chrome also? Or is there a repository for Chrome add-ons?

I agree with that, I use opera but some options at godaddy auctions are not working under opera and I must use chrome.

I remember facing it sometime before, specially when transferring domain names. But so far no issues with auctions on Godaddy. Works on both Firefox and Chrome perfectly. Most of the time I'm not logged in.
- Try to disable all addons. Some of the script blocking addons are a problem.
- Also sometimes the security settings (cookies etc) could be issues.

Thanks for the link NC.

Well it happened to me on Chrome just now. Put two items in my cart from GoDaddy Auctions, and Chrome said they were not in my cart. Search for the domains and they couldn't be found (because they were in my cart). Click on My Account>Cart and voila there they were.
