GoDaddy 60-day lock question

I received an offer on a domain and they want to process through escrow. Can I request transfer lock code from godaddy when less than first 60 days on new reg?

did they ask you to get an appraisal?


not saying it doesn't happen, but it's very rare that one will receive "Legitimate" offers, for a newly registered domain name.

I would be careful about the appraisal thing like @biggie said. With that in mind, just have them create an account with GoDaddy. No transfers are allowed out of any registrar within the first 60-days (this is because of potential reversals and similar things). But internal account transfers are.
