Hello everyone, I'm help my friend design a fashion/lady's forum , we plan to use pink & white colour for the site colour, but I'm no idea use what colour code for the pink... anyone give some opinion for the pink colour(light to dark with shining effect) please?

i don't color codes other than #000000 which is black and #FFFFFF which is white

I like to use photoshop to get the perfect color for my website. Which is probably what you should do since there can be a lot of different shades. Just open up your favorite image editor and get the shade you want. You can even use paint with this piece of code rgb(255,198,226).

I like to use this website for color as well:
ColorMixers

at the bottom there is a feature that says load predefined themes and there are a lot of colors to choose from. I linked you up to a pink to get started.

Also you can check out w3schools page they have some colors just look and press next for some more:

If you play around with crazyluvs link there are quite a few good choices. They are all pretty similar in color, but have different tones. This is a great lead. Now I am going to have to start using this site, lol.

I used photoshop to design, I just can't get the best match colour for pinky colour (some too bright & some too dark..)

I always design in photoshop first - what you could try in find a nice pink colour you like in a magazine - scan it - put it into photoshop and use the colour picker to find out the number.
