Need Your Opinion!

Hi guys, I need your opinion on a simple text logo that a friend of mine needs. He wants something simple but classy enough for his new computer-related company (not web based). I've only done some minor editing to the actual font.

I've tried this text using a whole bunch of other fonts but this seems to be my favourite. Someone else have told me that this is just too simple. Here's what the text looks like on both white & black background colour. What do you guys think, is it too simple?

(BTW this has been blown up, it's supposed to be a whole lot smaller)

Not too simple: very elegant, actually, I am impressed.

I would prefer the white background colour, it looks lighter, and more readable.

But I would go with Amenzl - depends on it surroundings; text/color coordination.

You know it's both simple and reach. But I think it didn't match to computer company. It'll be better for some classic stores.

I agree, I do fear that it's just too simple. I guess the advantage of simplicity is that it'll never be dated, but I might add something to it, but I'm not sure.

Have you tried incorporating a tagline or an image, to aid the logo in defining what it represents - i.e. a computer business?

Stretched...you mean the spacing or do you mean the actual letters? Nope, no letters were 'stretched'...

I asked my friend about an image logo or both text & logo but he wanted it to be 100% text. :/
