If someone wanted the dot com, it looks like they are going to have to pay near this amount.

Which is quite expensive imo.

So I have an alternative, which is not as good.

So knowing how much the alternative it could give a better idea how much I could hold out for.

But I see what your saying; what someone personally values their .com of a domain as does not have MUCH baring on how much i could get for mine. I just think its nice to note what the alternatives are asking for.

Righto, the point is that the .COM is only an ASKING PRICE and not a verified SOLD "comp"; if and when the .COM actually sells it can then be used - sort of - for general alternate extension pricing opinios IMHO. :gl:

So how much would you pay for this?

You may find an enduser for this, but you may have to wait.
You will have trouble finding a domainer to buy it, but this is the type of domain that can do well with development.
I like these net domains with 1000+ searches, where the dot com is parked, and this one basically is with the smartprice (or whatever it is called) parking. Only 9 pages indexed.
I have some long net domains that are doing okay.
Once they get indexed it is not hard to get reg fee per month, depending on the price of the product and search volume. But I tend to only buy if the com is parked.

A few examples of my net domains which are similar that have made reg fee + and seem to be getting more traffic and sales as time passes.

Do something with it. Get it ranking and making money and wait for the enduser that can't afford the price of the dot com.
