Hello,
I'm on the lookout for either a partner or outright buyer for my site, www.gettingGlobal.com.
The site uses the same concept as CountryOnSale v1.2, the script I own (see www.countryonsale.com). But it looks completely different to the script, as you'll see (CountryOnSale.info : gettingGlobal.com).
Why do I need a partner?
Currently, the site is not fully complete. There is no map on the homepage and the continent pages are missing (click View by Continents, then click any of them). Also, the site currently has to be edited manually, whereas the CountryOnSale script has an incorporated admin panel.
As a partner, you'll need at least one of the following two things:
- Very good PHP knowledge, and the ability to help take the site to the next level.
- A fair bit of cash (probably mid $xxx to low $xxxx), to pay for work to be done to the site to help take it to the next level.
Last year I bought the site from the original owner, so I could have rights to the script. He owned rights to the script which is now CountryOnSale back then. I haven't done much work on it personally, although I did get some way into having a map made for the site until the person who was making it disappeared!
Alternatively, I may just sell the site completely and let the buyer develop it further as they wish. The price is negotiable, but I'd like to get at least what I paid for the site, as I like it very much. I think its design is very good, and will only let it go for the right price, as otherwise I'd like to develop it myself.
SUMMARY
I either need:
- A partner for the site with good PHP knowledge to help develop it.
- A partner for the site with money ($xxx-$xxxx) to develop it.
- A buyer for the site (price negotiable).

PS: If I found a partner, what we'd do with the site would be discussed. We could either market the site itself, or sell the script for the site. I'm willing to consider both options.
