This tattoo lady has offered to do my arm out lines and my uncle is offering to pay...

I'm crapping myself but I want to do it..... mum said no but im a teenager.

Hey guys,

after another 10 or so drinks... the lady left.

I just got home and didn't get anything LOL.

The lady offered too but it'd take hours to custom design it and we're abit too drunk.

:hehe:

Good choice not getting a tattoo. You'll probably regret it when you get older.
Picture yourself when you're 70 with that tattoo on your arm... still looks cool? I dont think so.

LOL...good

Too young, And probably too drunk at the time :)

You don't mark your skin unless it means something to you. I have several and they all mean something to me.

Don't do it because it's cool...it's not, for the wrong reasons.
Don't do it because you think it will set you apart...every tom, dick and harry has one these days.
Dont do it because you think it makes you different. It doesn't...it only proves you're a sheep.

ONLY...and I mean ONLY, mark you body if it means something that is meaningful to you.

You have to live with it for the rest of your life, That's a long time to regret an act of stupidty/lack of thought/drunkeness...or whatever.

I have never regreted mine....never will. When I see them, they remind me of times in my life, where I've been and what makes me who I am and what I don't want to be.

Think hard James before you go through with this when you are eventually old enough.

BTW...don't get drunk to do it...MAN UP!

Well said xxfireflyxx, I now have three, The first one i got in 1984, I had it redone this year due to fading, My ever faithful Tri-Ryche , and my memorial to my mom and dad, who passed away just in the last three years.

If i am wearing a normal regular T-Shirt, you can not see any tattoo's on me. All three of my Tattoos have very special meaning to me, they are very personal to me.

If anyone is thinking of getting Inked, just for the sake of being Inked, Don't do it.

You know, a good Namepros.com tattoo might look good.

My cousins have their tattoo at their back. That was done yesterday.
It was pretty cool.

Everyone, they're going to mean something to me & nothing will make me change my mind about getting them.

Not even the price tag.

Dude if you're going to get one anyway, fine, but you should consider getting them in areas that aren't real obvious. Your back, chest, shoulders, etc. would be safer. Down the arm or neck could be offputting to a potential employer (or father-in-law for that matter).

I would wait until getting settled into a job or career first before going overboard, otherwise you might find end up regretting it.

Good luck bro.

Father in law? :o :o

The tattooist I talked to said I should pick a main theme and central spot anyway, the best idea would be start on my upper chest. ( I'd leave my tummy blank) and then could work my way to half sleeves.

By the time I've got full sleeves I'll hopefully have my own business ;)

Thanks for the input guys. I'm pretty limited to what I can get done till 18 anyway. :) 8-X

... gotta love to be young and stubborn. :|

If you MUST have one...or more. Make damn sure that you can cover them up with regular clothing. Nothing that's exposed ... anywhere. Not even if you wear a short sleeved dress shirt or knee long surf shorts.
Why? Because if you show up (e.g: in my office) for an interview, you'd make it out the door faster than into it.
Am i biased? No. I have 2 myself. BUT, neither is visible unless I want it to be.
While tattoos have become mainstream with all the TV shows that are currently aired, it's still entertainment and in many areas of business they would shine a questionable, dismissible light on you.

..just a thought ;)
