This tattoo lady has offered to do my arm out lines and my uncle is offering to pay...

I'm crapping myself but I want to do it..... mum said no but im a teenager.

Uncle is offering to do my whole outline for my left arm.

I want to take it up but I'm limited on designs

...of course, i'm just kidding! You can get a tattoo at any time, James. The problem is with getting the area of skin back where you got the tattoo
wait til you're 18, then wait some more until you're 100% sure that this is something you'd still want to wear proudly with the age of...well..let's say 65.

Well some of them look all right when they're first put on. But when you get older, your skin expands/contracts, and pretty soon your awesome tattoo looks like a mess of ink.

I'm....let's just say older and I kinda wish I hadn't
got mine. (yea, I know...hindsight)
It's been difficult over the years in different workplaces as well.
sometimes not even being allowed for it to show!
Keep that in mind when you think about your future career :p

paying that lady by the hour, chances are you've already got it!

Tatoos look great on Maori people, because it's part of their culture. Just recently some of the top soccer clubs in Europe have banned players from making tatoos due to health reasons.

I have several Tattoos and they are beautiful Native American designs.

I was never drinking when they were done and I always gave my designer plenty of time for drawing the custom design I wanted.

IMO, never do a tattoo when your drinking or being so Young!

Remember, what you do now will affect you the rest of your life!

The lady offered too but it'd take hours to custom design it and we're abit too drunk.

You don't mark your skin unless it means something to you. I have several and they all mean something to me.

Don't do it because it's cool...it's not, for the wrong reasons.
Don't do it because you think it will set you apart...every tom, dick and harry has one these days.
Dont do it because you think it makes you different. It doesn't...it only proves you're a sheep.

ONLY...and I mean ONLY, mark you body if it means something that is meaningful to you.

You have to live with it for the rest of your life, That's a long time to regret an act of stupidty/lack of thought/drunkeness...or whatever.

I have never regreted mine....never will. When I see them, they remind me of times in my life, where I've been and what makes me who I am and what I don't want to be.

Think hard James before you go through with this when you are eventually old enough.

BTW...don't get drunk to do it...MAN UP!

I definitely would wait a few years before getting a tattoo. Your going to chance so much and you could really regret them. I had allot of friends in the army who got tattoos and then got kicked out or hated it. I'm sure you felt really stupid getting airborne tattoos and getting kicked out of few weeks later. Definitely not worth it.
