The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

Backlinks, fresh/new content, etc.

First, submit your site to web directories to gain backlinks, etc. Make sure you have optimized keywords to get the search engine rankings you want for certain keywords.

Then, make sure you update your blog and update often, and also be sure to use new content. Nobody likes to read old/stale content.

Submit your articles to social networking sites such as Digg, StumbleUpon, etc.

Tell your friends/family about it.

i think that submitting to a few social networking sites would be much more effective than submitting to a dozen web directories.

If it does not complete , do it again. At the bottom of the page it will say successful. It does take a couple of minutes sometimes.
