Hi guys,
Up for sale is GenerateThis.com, a one click file uploading/generating website. The site allows users to upload pictures, zips, mp3s, and more - almost all extensions are welcome. Users can generate a link download, and send it to their friends for quick file sharing. Teens can upload pics etc and use it on myspace, whatever they want - no restrictions!
Someone asked me, well, isn't this website going to take up bandwidth? Well, usually. But, we have a file limit. I have set a file limit in the options to 5MB, you obviously would have the ability to make that larger or smaller.
Generate This has a configuration of the following options (I've highlighted my favourite ones):
the maximum file size allowed to be uploaded (in megabytes)
time users must wait before downloading another file (in minutes)
time users must wait before uploading another file (in minutes)
if a file is under this many megabytes, there is no time limit
delete files if not downloaded after this many days
length of the timer on the download page (in seconds)
allows users to see a list of uploaded files
There are many diffrent ways to modify this website, like mentioned above. We also have an admin control panel for some other small things. Runs off a very easy to use template system, for easy template modifying/intergration. But my favourite thing, Generate This does not run off a mysql database :D!
The website has been optimized with adsense, blended in with the site design.
I think the website has great potential, and I hope the new owner can be very successful!
