information Game of Registrars: An Empirical Analysis of Post-Expiration Domain Name Takeovers

I think some of you guys have already seen this, but a group of grad students at Northeastern University published some interesting findings about domain names and drop catching specifically. It is very technical but it discusses many issues in the domain "game". I found the percentage of re-registrations broken down by registrar to be noteworthy.
