I bet a lot are going to say the logo is too big but with my 1024 x 768 res it works out great for me.

I don't think you need the splash page. I would resize the image in the header to make it smaller and use the space to put a description for instance or a banner.

I didn't see a forum description, so I think you need it: some sentences to tell your visitors why the forums are nice and should be joined at. You need to start a lot of threads too.

the logo is really hard to read, and flash pages, in my opinion unless they have a point are just annoying and shouldn't be there, also i tend to prefer more neutral/lighter colour schemes that aren't to hard on the eye, i usually stay away from dark stuff, but that's just me

reason for splash page is so people can hopefully start using that page their homepage and use that google to search and yes the logo is huge and needs work..

also letting people know about why they should join is a good idea. but I still have yet to figure that out.

Wow, I havent seen such blatant buttkissing to gather rep before - or someone who fell for it at that. Personally I find the colors difficult to distinguish and the logo designs are extremely simplistic. Black is a very gothic color and someone people will tend to stray away from such a dark color scheme.

and I wanted it simple, not too much to read. colors looks fine for me but my video card is good.

Things to Fix
[!] Splash page not required - You can move the Google bar to your forum instead. I doubt people are going to make that their homepage if there's a banner that big

[!] What's the concept? What's the site about? Who do I contact?
[!] Advertise the site > Advertise what you are offering
[!] You need something to entertain members. A forum with three members doesn't really look attractive

You need that big idea to get it going. Grab some talented graphic artists to whip up a graphics set for your site, and also advertise and get some friends as loyal forum members. Good luck!

Here is what I think:

The Bad

• The user should not have to click to get into your site.
• The initial logo is too big and too plain.
• The site needs to bring in some more colors or a custom skin.
• You need more categories to post in.
• The site feels way too dark.
• You do not have a favicon.

The Good

• You are using Invision Powerboard (nice and not free).
• Your site doesn't look sloppy with lots of images and/or colors.
• The site loads quite fast.
