B-E-A-C-H.COM had a 350 Euro reserve met on SEDO.

But the same can be said about any domain, to me its more of a kiddie thing, it certainly doesnt look very pro.

These types of names certainly arnt word of mouth names, imagine trying to tell someone what the domain is... g hypen r hyphen e hyphen e hyphen k dot com vs using a real 2 word domain containing the word Greek, heck even .net .info etc... would be better or at least look better/pro.

These are called Schmuck domains... for a reason.

I could prob. handle a 2 hyphen 3 letter word domain but 4 hyphens never. To each their own...

Finding an end user would be very difficult, imo.

I cant dispute that google penalizes everything it does not like, and probably does sandbox these domains for longer, but as I said, these things can be overcome. Try typing in "diy" at google, then "d-i-y", and then "d--i--y" . You will see what I meant about the search results.

I understood that part, it was the highlighted post i was questioning.

"d-----iy" returns 122,000 results on my computer.
"d--i--y" returns 222,000 results on my computer.

Whereas "diy" returns 132,000,000 on my computer.
and "d-i-y" also returns 132,000,000.

I did not try to gain any advantage by using d-i-y as an example, if that was the implication. It is a fresh reg and probably not in the index yet. (I'll check later)

The reason I used D-I-Y is because it is a lot shorter than Y-O-U-A-R-E-A-P-A-I-N-I-N-T-H-E- - - .
