I think the price may be higher because it went to an end-user who was looking for it, rather than a domainer who would've added to the portfolio; am I right in this thinking?

A cpap machine creates just enough pressure to keep your airway open at night while you sleep. People with apnea tend to snore alot and never feel as though they get enough sleep, even when they "slept" for eight hours or more. It works really well. Sleep apnea is a huge market, now that people are realizing that snoring is indicative of a larger problem that can cause heart problems, obesity, sleep depravations, and high blood pressure.

However, CPAP is a highly regulated medical device. You cannot sell on ebay or on the private market. So, CPAP.CA would be an excellent site for Durable Medical Equipment suppliers. (DME) I would imagine that it will get tons of type in and will definately be worth a heck of a lot more to the smart buyer who markets it to the DME's. $5K for this name is a drop in the bucket.
