I won a godaddy auction 3 days ago and I paid immeadiately and it's still
pending authorization, is this normal, I already talked to support yesterday they said nothing to be concerned about but that was all. Does it always take this long guys? Or am I just being impatient?

I have the exact some situation as you OP. As far as i know Godaddy needs 5day to verify your funds. If its was a public auction after the verification the seller needs to push the domain to you manually and you have to accept it too manually. Its not complicated and it takes just 2 button press BUT the seller receive his money after 20day(starting from the date you paid). After godaddy verify your funds everything depends on the seller.
I hope it helps.

wow, I don't like it, this is no way to do business, especially when everything is electronically transfered.

I had the same situation - basically the domain needs to fully expire and then godaddy registers it in your name. It's nothing to do with the funds as far as I can see, nor it's do with slow support, I think it's all an automated process.

I had to wait 4 days for my domain.

If the domain is registered at Godaddy, then you will receive domain in 5 days.

have a look under your 'won' domains in the auction platform and it states a date next to the name when it becomes available

The same here, I have to wait 7 days so to make sure I can get my name, what is that?

We're in 2018 here, not 1920.
