From PhotoShop to HTML

Ok I am new to photoShop and I want to know what is the best way to take a design in photoSop and make it into a working page.

I know that this might take a to long to explain but if anyone could or could point me to some good tutorials I would be very greatfull,

use the slice tool on the tool bar on the left( looks like ascalpel)
